Demonstration of systematic pelvic lymphadenectomy in standard locations.
Description
Demonstration of systematic pelvic lymphadenectomy in standard locations - along the external iliac vessels up to their entry into the inguinal canal, along the common iliac vessels up to the bifurcation of the aorta, in the presacral region, along the internal iliac vessels, and in the obturator fossa. Extensive use of electrosurgery is shown, which allows minimalization of blood loss, shortening of operation time and precise tissue dissection. Whenever nerve is in close proximity, as it is in the obturator fossa, strictly bipolar coagulation is used.
