Demonstration of non-radical extrafascial hysterectomy.
Description
Demonstration of non-radical extrafascial hysterectomy. A ureter is identified in retroperitoneum before clamping of ovarian vessels, which prevents injury or ligation of the ureter. In comparison to so called intrafascial hysterectomy, is proceeded laterally from the cervix to below the level of the vaginal insertion on the cervix. The removed specimen includes a paracervical tissue.
